New to Homeopathy?
This post is for you. Every month I will be introducing a helpful remedy to start your homeopathic journey. My first pick is a super star and can be found in many stores.
Arnica montana.
Arnica is made from Leopard’s Bane, a yellow daisy-like flower, found in the mountains. It can be used to help treat a number of illnesses and injuries. According to Yasgur’s Homeopathic Dictionary it is considered a polycrest meaning it has “many widespread uses, covering a wide variety of mental, emotional and physical symptomatology”.
Arnica is most commonly known for it’s usefulness in treating sore muscles, sports injuries, swelling, sprains, etc. It is very effective for any soft tissue situation. It can ease the pain of braces, bruising, black eyes, contusions, cramps, hematoma, labor, mastitis, and when your body feels “beat up”. Arnica can also be helpful easing arthritis pain and healing head injuries, such as, a concussion. Arnica is good for circulatory issues too. Any bleeding injury will heal quicker when this remedy is taken. Arnica can slow heart palpations after any shock or injury, and speed recovery after surgery or a stroke.
If you or a loved one experience trauma of any kind remember Arnica.
Homeopathic remedies come in varying potency. Low potency is considered 3c to 30c, medium potency is considered 200c and higher potency is considered 1M.
It is good to have Arnica in 30c, 200c, and even 1M for more serious situations.
